The Cold Lake Marlins swim club is looking for swim coaches.

“If you have a great attitude with kids, and if you’re looking for a way to contribute to the community as a role model for youngsters, this might be a good opportunity for you,” said Flt Lt Chris Downs, Marlins vice-president.

Swim coaches organize, manage and perform swimming instruction for all club members. They work in conjunction with the Cold Lake Marlins head coach and the club’s executive committee.

The club expects the coaches to be at the pool for at least two or three sessions per week. Practices run from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
The coaches may also be required to work some weekends and travel to meets.

These are paid positions. Applicants will require a Swim Alberta Community Coach or 101 Certification, liability insurance through Swim Alberta and a valid Vulnerable Sector police check.

For more information, contact the club at Deadline for applications is August 25, 2018.
