Romanian Air Force honours ATF members

Brigadier-General Viorel Pana, Acting Chief of the Romanian Air Force Staff, presented members of Air Task Force Romania currently deployed on Operation Reassurance in support of NATO enhanced air policing, with the Romanian Air Force Emblem of Honour. The presentations were made at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Constanta, Romania, on December 14.

4 Wing Fire Department to receive new equipment

DND/The Courier Nine Canadian Armed Forces bases, including CFB Cold Lake, will receive new fire trucks in the coming months. Known as the Aerial Fire Fighting Vehicle (AFFV), the new trucks provide fire fighting capabilities, rescue, and casualty evacuation to a height of 35 metres. The vehicles were procured to fight fires on modern infrastructure including fires in ammunition and fuel containment areas.
