Grad parade concludes cadets’ summer training season

The Courier The Cold Lake Cadet Training Centre wrapped up its summer season last week with a massive parade. More than 800 cadets were on parade Friday morning to celebrate their graduations from several different training courses. Brittany has been a volunteer for the MFRCS since 2009. She comes in every Wednesday and Friday morning to help with the shredding program, Scholastics Book order forms, and stapling, cutting, and other office tasks. She is an inspiration and a tremendous support for the MFRCS team.

409 Squadron Hornets deploy to Romania

Jeff Gaye Four CF-18 Hornet fighters from 409 Squadron left Cold Lake last Wednesday en route to Romania. They will augment the Romanian Air Force as part of Operation Reassurance, Canada’s contribution to NATO assurance and deterrence measures in eastern Europe.
