Jeff Gaye Nicki Niemi Cammack and Susan Tucker came to know each other under the worst circumstances. Each lost a brother in separate CF-18 crashes 15 months apart. WWII Vets brought living history to Cold Lake Air Show

Jeff Gaye The visit of two World War II pilots to the Cold Lake Air Show last month was a highlight of 401 Squadron’s centennial celebration. RAF Flight Lieutenant (retired) Bill Falconer and RCAF Flight Lieutenant (retired) Jack Hopkins were thoroughly impressed by the show, but found they were star attractions themselves. Falconer flew Hawker Hurricane fighters in the Battle of Britain as a member of No. 1 Squadron, which would eventually become 401 Squadron.Read More
