401 Squadron gains important experience

The planes don’t fly without techs on the Ex

Photos by Cpl Manuela Berger, 4 Wing Imaging 401 Squadron and other 4 Wing personnel are at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico for Exercise Sandy Fleece. The CF-18 pilots depend on ground crew and support personnel to make sure the aircraft, and the people, are properly looked after. Cpl Manuela Berger has sent these pictures from the exercise, showing some of the deployed non-commissioned members fulfilling their various roles.

401 Squadron deploying for Exercise Sandy Fleece

The Courier Members of 401 Squadron and other 4 Wing personnel are on their way to Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico for Exercise Sandy Fleece. The exercise will give the squadron an opportunity to operate from an unfamiliar location.
