LS Brenda VanderVies, a medical technician, receives a Christmas wreath at Military Family Resource Centre Society. Fund manager Judith Chance said MFRCS wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and purchased 130 of the wreaths to give to military families as part of their annual Christmas program. Recipients had to call in advance to claim a wreath. The free wreaths of tree boughs were all claimed within a day.

Cookie campaign exceeds expectation

MFRCS It seems perhaps an unlikely team, but Military Family Resource Centre Society (MFRCS) at 4 Wing and their pals at Tim Hortons in Cold Lake are celebrating a victory and have lots to smile about. The recent Smile Cookie campaign raised $23,308.75 for MFRCS, far more than originally expected. It’s simple. Cheryl Vincent honoured at playground dedication

Cliff Kenyon Military members and former co-workers on Oct. 16 honoured a long-time friend and colleague. Maple Virtual health care program open

MFRCS The 4 Wing Military Family Resource Centre Society (MFRCS) is accepting applications for military families to register for the Maple Virtual Health Care Program. At the end of September there were about 125 spaces left. 4 Wing Deputy Fire Chief MWO Rodney Densmore (left), Fire Chief Capt Rob McIntosh,  are presented a $500 cheque by Military Family Resource Centre Society (MRFRCS) Executive Director Floyd Perras with WO Chief Fire Inspector Stephen Foreman, Fire Inspector Darrell Lynds.  MFRCS supports 4 Wing Fire Department in its fire prevention efforts on base. The money will be used for fire prevention promotional items.
