Cliff Kenyon Military members and former co-workers on Oct. 16 honoured a long-time friend and colleague. Maple Virtual health care program open

MFRCS The 4 Wing Military Family Resource Centre Society (MFRCS) is accepting applications for military families to register for the Maple Virtual Health Care Program. At the end of September there were about 125 spaces left. 4 Wing Deputy Fire Chief MWO Rodney Densmore (left), Fire Chief Capt Rob McIntosh,  are presented a $500 cheque by Military Family Resource Centre Society (MRFRCS) Executive Director Floyd Perras with WO Chief Fire Inspector Stephen Foreman, Fire Inspector Darrell Lynds.  MFRCS supports 4 Wing Fire Department in its fire prevention efforts on base. The money will be used for fire prevention promotional items. Perras said MFRCS has a broad mandate which includes efforts to protect families from such threats as fires.

Smile cookies raise cash for MFRCS

Cliff Kenyon Smile…be happy…and it only costs you a loonie. It’s the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign, a national event which includes the three Tim Hortons restaurants in Cold Lake. All proceeds from the sale of the Smile Cookies from Sept. 16 to 22 goes to the Military Family Resource Centre Society (MFRCS) at 4 Wing. Why are they smiles?
