DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID Restrictions\, this course had to be cancelled.  \nImprove communication within personal relationships by learning the attitudes and skills needed to work through conflict effectively. This course is designed for adults who want to improve their communication. \nTopics include: \n\nconflict theory\, causes of conflict and how conflict can escalate;\nconflict management styles;\ninterest-based communication skills;\nCollaborative Communication Model and how to use it to resolve issues; and\nactive and empathetic listening skills.\n\nA HRMS code will be provided upon course completion. \nEligibility: This course is open to the 4 Wing Defence Team\, including military and civilian personnel\, and family members aged 18 years and older. \nRegistration: Registration is required to attend the course. Military and civilian personnel require supervisor approval. \nFor more information\, please contact the Health Promotion office at 780-840-8000 ext. 6958 or 4WGHealthPromotion@forces.gc.ca. \n*Note that military personnel have priority.
