As the holiday season approaches, the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) is calling on Canadians to help bring comfort and encouragement to those who serve. A dedicated online message board has been launched, inviting the public to submit holiday messages to CAF members at home and abroad.
Whether heartfelt, lighthearted, or a simple note of thanks, every message helps remind military members that their service is valued—especially during a time of year when many are far from family, deployed, or supporting operations across the country.
The initiative is still growing, and the CAF is hoping to build a meaningful collection of messages from Canadians of all ages. Families, students, veterans, and community groups are encouraged to take part and share their appreciation through the webpage.
CAF members—whether deployed, training, or working here at home—will be able to visit the site throughout the season to read the notes of support.
The Defence Team is asking Canadians to help spread the word by sharing the webpage and accompanying social media post with friends, colleagues, and community networks. A few moments of effort can go a long way in lifting the spirits of those who serve during the holidays.
