National Public Service Week is an annual celebration recognizing the dedication and contributions of federal public servants whose work supports Canadians and the Government of Canada every day. Created in 1992, the week is intended to foster pride in the federal public service while raising awareness of the important role public servants play in serving Canadians. On June 24, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Cold Lake marked the occasion with a National Public Service Appreciation Week barbecue, bringing employees together in recognition of their service and commitment.
