Getting to the 2026 Cold Lake Air Show will once again be easier thanks to a returning shuttle service designed to help visitors reach the event safely and conveniently.
The overall transportation plan remains similar to previous years, with shuttle buses transporting passengers from designated Residential Housing Unit (RHU) stops directly to the Air Show grounds. However, organizers note that some shuttle stop locations have changed for 2026, and attendees are encouraged to review the updated route before making their way to a pickup location.
New this year, an accessible HandiBus will operate on the route, providing transportation for guests with mobility needs and helping ensure the Air Show is accessible to everyone.
The shuttle service offers an easy alternative to driving and parking at the event, while helping reduce traffic congestion around Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Cold Lake during one of the community’s busiest weekends of the year.
Air Show organizers encourage guests to arrive early, familiarize themselves with the shuttle schedule and pickup locations, and allow extra travel time during peak periods.
The Cold Lake Air Show is pleased to be in partnership with our Defence Team Sponsor, B&R Eckels Transport!
