Eligibility: This course is open to the 4 Wing Defence Team, including military and civilian personnel, and family members aged 18 years and older
Registration: Registration is required to attend the course. Military and civilian personnel require supervisor approval.

- Written proof of approval from Supervisor/CoC; and
- SN, Full Name, Rank, Local and Unit of the member/employee

*Note that military personnel have priority. Civilian participants may be removed from the course should registrations exceed the maximum number permitted. If the course is full when your registration is received, you will be notified that you have been placed on the waitlist.
Description
Stress management is a daily practice that has an impact on your overall wellbeing. In this course, participants will learn tools and coping mechanisms to manage stress. This interactive program combines theory and practice to help participants create lasting changes.
Topics include:
- stressors and the effects of stress;
- the stress and relaxation responses;
- the Personal Power Grid;
- the stress reaction in the military context;
- resiliency;
- work-life balance;
- lifestyle habits and their effect on stress; and
- relaxation techniques.
Important: This course should not be used as a replacement for therapy and/or counselling.
A HRMS code will be provided upon course completion.
